Here at Cold Case Explorations, I dive deep into the forgotten mysteries that continue to haunt communities and families. Through meticulous research along with document, news, interview, and video analysis, I try to shine a new light on cases that have gone cold for years — sometimes even decades. Every cold case represents more than just an unsolved mystery; it represents lives forever changed, questions unanswered, and justice delayed and therefore denied.
Why Do You Focus on Cold Cases?
There’s a unique purpose in turning attention to cases that time seems to have forgotten. While solved crimes have found their resolution — their perpetrators (hopefully) held accountable, their victims honored with justice — cold cases remain in limbo, their resolutions obscured by the fog of time.
For me, this work is about more than just uncovering facts; it’s about honoring the memories of those who can no longer speak for themselves. Each cold case represents a family suspended in grief, unable to fully heal without the answers they so desperately seek. They live in a perpetual and painful state of uncertainty, where closure remains forever out of reach. These families and loved ones have watched as media attention faded, the investigators moved on to newer cases, and as their loved one’s story slowly disappeared from public consciousness… but it never disappeared from their consciousness.

Justice Has No Expiration Date
In this, I believe that cold cases need advocates — individuals willing to shine a light back into the darkness. When I research these forgotten stories and unsolved mysteries, I’m lending my voice to those who have been silenced, both the victims and their families who continue to wait for answers. The passage of time shouldn’t diminish our commitment to justice or our responsibility to remember.
My work serves as a reminder that no victim should be forgotten simply because their case proved difficult to solve, and no family should feel abandoned by a system that promised them justice.
If this was your loved one who was missing or murdered, wouldn’t you want justice and answers? Wouldn’t you want someone to stoke the embers of their case in the hope that it might be solved one day? Wouldn’t you want to keep the hope for justice alive? Cold cases are only stories suspended, not ended, and justice has no expiration date.
